Catering and Events Consultant Shannon Lutz has always been involved the hospitality world, from running events at restaurants to working in off-premise catering. After graduating from college in Florida and moving to Illinois with her husband, she focused on off-premise catering with Jewell Events Catering and the venue aspect of events with Pinstripes, where she saw a lot of team-building, buyouts, and of course weddings. After having her two children, who are now 5 and 4 years old, Shannon knew that she wanted to have her weekends free to spend with them, so she has changed her focus to mostly corporate events and catering, in her new role as catering and events consultant at Sweet Baby Ray's and True Cuisine Catering. In the summer on her free weekends, Shannon loves to go to the beach, travel with her family to Mexico, Florida and the Dells, watch her children participate in gymnastics and T-ball where her husband is the coach, and drink wine.
